Carbon/Energy Audits
Independent of a utility supplies review, a carbon/energy audit has three main planks.
We work with you to -
- gather as much data as we can from your historic utility bills and analyse your consumption and pattern of usage;
- carry out a walk-through survey of your premises and analyse such areas as lighting, heating, cooling, computer use, general equipment use and commercial operations generally;
- analyse transport and travel costs, including such factors such as employee travel and distribution mileage.
From this analysis we produce a Carbon/Energy Audit Report detailing your energy consumption and C02 emissions.
This report also:
- highlights areas where energy consumption can be reduced either by better control strategies or changing equipment;
- suggests changes to operations that you might like to consider, to reduce your carbon footprint.
If we recommend additional or changing equipment we also give a 'payback' period, to allow you to make a properly informed and commercially sensible decision.
