Our product of the month right now is the wind-up MP3 player.
Well, we've had wind-up radios for some time, so the MP3 player just had to follow.
h6>Streets AheadWe're particularly pleased to be able to announce that we are working with Streets, one of the UK's Top 50 Chartered Accountants, to both save them money on their fuel bills AND be carbon neutral through offsetting their CO2 emissions. We are, of course, also working with them to reduce their basic energy usage on an ongoing year-on-year basis. It makes good business sense for them to do so, and it makes sound climate-friendly sense too.
I say we're 'particularly pleased' with this development because accountancy is not an obvious activity to mention in the same breath as CO2 emissions: everyone always talks about the obvious sectors: motoring, air travel and similar. It's our view that while the higher-emitting activities will benefit significantly from work to cut their energy usage and go carbon-neutral, in fact it makes good sense for businesses of every type, shape and size to do so. And this is never more true than now, when fuel costs are rising and the economy isn't looking quite so rosy. If an accountant thinks it's smart to be cutting costs and going carbon neutral, you can bet good money it would be sound policy for every other business to do so too!
